The product in question
Estim.ai is construction estimation software that uses artificial intelligence to automate takeoffs from plans and specifications. The tool automatically extracts materials, quantities, and dimensions from PDF files, then generates a bill of quantities in just a few clicks. It aims to reduce manual labor time, decrease errors, and allow contractors to respond to more bids.

What you'll be doing with us
We are looking for someone from the construction industry, specifically with practical experience as an estimator, who wants to put their professional expertise to work for clients in a SaaS context.
This position is a key first hire in building our customer success and support team. It is a central post-sales role, where your real-world understanding—quotes, estimates, operational constraints—becomes a direct lever to help customers get maximum value from our application.
We are not looking for a "traditional" support profile. We are looking for someone who speaks the same language as our customers, who understands their daily challenges, and who is able to support them with credibility, autonomy, and good judgment in a startup environment where everything is still evolving.
Required profile:
Significant experience as an estimator in the construction industry. (No prior experience in customer success is required: your professional expertise is key.)
Good understanding of estimation and bidding processes and the operational realities of the construction site and the office.
Strong interest in technology and digital tools (SaaS).
Ability to explain, train, and support other professionals in the field.
Comfortable in fast-paced environments
Autonomy, judgment, and solution orientation.
Excellent communication skills and a natural customer-focused approach.
French required (primary language) and good command of English, sufficient to provide support and lead client meetings as needed
What you will do in practice
1. Customer Success & Onboarding (core role)
Manage customer relations after the sale. Support new customers from the construction sector as they get started, adapting the approach to their specific circumstances in the field.
Offer functional training (individual and group) focused on real-life scenarios. Quickly identify barriers to adoption related to existing habits or processes, and take pragmatic action.
2. Customer support
Be the main point of contact for customer questions. Answer usage questions with a detailed understanding of the construction context.
Distinguish between misunderstandings, a need for professional support, or a real product issue, and liaise with the relevant teams.
Identify and document anomalies/defects (bugs) or irritants, taking into account the operational impact on users.
3. Monitoring strategic partners and clients (secondary component)
Follow up with major clients and expert partners in the construction industry.
Collect qualitative feedback on the use of the product and its suitability for field practices.
Present the new features by linking them to specific challenges faced by appraisers in their work.
4. Internal collaboration
Work closely with the product and sales teams, providing a strong business voice to influence product priorities and future improvements.
Collaborate in an environment where direct communication and rapid problem solving are valued.
Act as a credible liaison between field users and internal teams.
