Job Description

As an Account Manager at Explor.ai, you will play a strategic role in business development and supporting our clients.

You will report directly to the Sales Director, Dorianne Deshaies, and your role will consist of identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities while building lasting relationships with our clients. You will be responsible for prospecting new potential clients, fully understanding their technological challenges, and proposing solutions tailored to their needs. You will also participate in various networking events to promoteExplor.ai’s services.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about artificial intelligence, has excellent business development skills, and possesses an engaging personality.

What you'll be doing with us

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities:

  • Actively seek out new potential customers and promote Explorai's services

  • Meet with clients (in person and virtually) to identify their needs, propose tailored solutions based on Explor.ai’s services (using a consultative sales approach), and promote the company’s competitive advantages.

  • Prepare service proposals, present them to clients, and negotiate contracts through to signing.

  • Attend events and build your network:

  • Represent Explor.ai at business development events, such as industry conferences, luncheons, networking events, trade shows, entrepreneur groups, and webinars.

  • Build meaningful connections in the artificial intelligence industry, maintain a strong network, and help promote Explorai.

  • Manage existing accounts:

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships

  • Identify opportunities for additional sales (upselling)

  • Work with internal teams to ensure the success of projects and customer satisfaction.

Skills required

  • Ability to quickly build trusting relationships with clients, communicate effectively, and positively influence decisions

  • Results-Oriented: Ability to make the necessary efforts to meet and exceed established sales targets

  • Work Style: Organization, attention to detail, integrity, time management, and the ability to set priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of the field of artificial intelligence: In-depth understanding of the concepts, trends, and applications of artificial intelligence in a business context.

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in consulting in a technology-related field (digital projects, software, or AI)

  • Knowledge of CRM tools: Experience using a CRM such as HubSpot to manage customer interactions, track opportunities, and generate reports.

  • Have a network of contacts relevant to the company.

  • Must have a driver's license, access to a car, and the availability to participate in events in various regions of Quebec. The position requires flexibility, as not all events take place between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

  • Excellent command of French (primary language) and good command of English, sufficient to provide support and lead client meetings as needed
